Great news, friends!
Because of your help, the Orchid Garden of Nepal has completed construction of its preschool addition. The new facility will host 40 children and prepare them for attendance in Nepali public schools. Modeled as a head-start program, the Orchid Garden Preschool will improve the lagging literacy rates and general knowledge of Nepal’s children of poverty.
We celebrated the opening of the preschool with government officials and Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala. It was a beautiful occasion to promote an extraordinary cause. Recently, we also commemorated our fourth year as an organization serving impoverished families of Nepal. We began in 2006 with 15 children and over the years, we have enrolled more than 300 students. Thank you for all of your support!
In the coming future, we welcome your continued support as we admit new students everyday who lack basic nutrition and school materials. We will keep you updated on our efforts to eliminate poverty and ensure that every Nepali child enjoys a bright and dynamic childhood.
Many thanks,
Your friends at the Mountain Fund
