Dear Friend's Namaste!

Being educated is the right of every child and it must be practised equally for either it is a boy or a girl in urban as well as rural areas. But, our society still follows the conservating thinking for girl education where it is considered of no importance and as the result girls are deprived of education. Doing household chores is the major responsibiliy of girls instead of reading books and writing with the pen.

Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan manages "Pathshala-a school" to change the approach of the society and to develop girl education. RSKS, with the financial support of GlobalGiving Foundation, runs "Pathshala" at 7 distinct villages where more than 210 poor rural girls get quality education. Thus, RSKS has set an excellent example in the field of education and joined the older students of "Pathshala" to the main stream of the education by get them registered in schools and selected needy girls for the new session and joined them to "Pathshala".

In the new session of "Pathshala" being run with the valuable support of GlobalGiving Foundation, girls got themselves registered with excitement and got quality education. Among them some were attended school for the first time. Out master trainers and teachers at "Pathshala" teach them Hind, English and Mathematics with simple and easy excercises. The parents of the little girls are happy to see them going school and expect a bright future for them. All the parents thank GlobalGiving Foundation and the donors as it is their efforts that made it possible for their children to have equal right of education.

One of our activists met with a guardian of a student in Pathshala. The father of a student named Asha (Name Changed) told that the financial conditions of their family was pathetic and they were not able to get their child registered in a school. Whenever Asha saw other children going to school she asked when she would go to school. But now, with the valuable efforts made by RSKS and GlobalGiving Foundation Asha goes to school and her father seeing her going to school was so happy for which he thanks GlobalGiving Foundation and the donors.

Dear Friend Namaste

Greetings from RSKS India!!

The girl education requires good quality study material in India for their complete and successful learnings. The study material of good quality makes the learning process interesting and also makes the students active. In addition to this, the subsidiary study material makes the education skills effective. Today is the education era where the study material brings precision, relevancy, interest, compatibility, motivation, confidence to the girls. But, it is an irony that there are some girls who get failed to be educated in the lack of the study material. The study material is must for the girls to have quality education.

Under the project, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan first visited 25 rural villages and discussed girl education with the management of the schools in the villages. Then, the Team RSKS and the School Management selected poor and needy girls and conducted counselling with the parents of the selected girls to discuss their educational development. Then, RSKS distributed the study material to the girls that included pen, pencil, sharpner, ruler, eraser, etc. Under the project, the study material was given to 3600 poor and needy rural girls children.

All the beneficiaries had interest towards study, but in the lack of the study material they couln't help it. Now, all the beneficiary girls doing hard work and study with dedication. The study material made it easy to complete the class work and the home work for the beneficiaries. The activists of RSKS had conversation with the teachers of the girls that is below mentioned:

Kavita, a teacher of senior secondary section, told us that there are so many deprived girls in Amba, Masina who were not able to sudy in the lack of the study material.  But, the support of "RSKS India" made it possible for the beneficiaries to be educated. Also, the initiative taken by RSKS was also appreciable. The entire school staff along with the beneficiary girls thank "GG" , Donors and RSKS.

Dear Friend Namaste

Greetings from RSKS India!!

Education is the right of every girl. But, girls are not getting educated equally in the society. Teaching according to the course contents is an easy way to get girls educated. It is still seen that girls don't have right to be educated in rural areas. Some of them are not able to go to school in the lack of study material and they have to face discrimination. There are many families in the society that don't promote girls to be educated, also the pathetic financial conditions of the families don't allow some girls to go to school.

In order to promote girl education, Rajashtan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan conducted a survey in 15 distinct villages and adopted 24 girls who were not going to the school in the lack of study material and were deprived to be educated. RSKS distributed study material to the adopted 24 girls so that they may have quality education. The study material includes clothes, sweater, shoes, socks, water bottles, school bag, notebooks, registers, pen, geometry box, etc. The beneficiaries were glad to have the study material. The Team RSKS distributed the study material in all 15 villages where the survey was conducted.

The girls who were not being able to attend the classes in the lack of study material, now becoming educated like others. The smile on their faces explain their happiness. Now, they go to school and attend classes regularly.

One of the activists of the Team RSKS met with 14 years old Tannu. She is a student in 8th standard. The financial condition of her family is pathetic. Labour is the only source of earning for the family. Tannu was not able to attend the school due to their worst financial conditions and that made her to face discrimination in the school and the embarassment made her to stop going school. But, now after getting the study material she continued her study and started going school regularly.

RSKS prays for her bright future.

15 years old Durga (name changed) resides at Arjunpura village. Agriculture is the main source of her family's income, but their yield gets ruined in the lack of water for some time. Now, labour is the only source of income they have and they have to do labour everyday to meet the basic requirements.

But, her parents find it difficult to nurture the family of 3 children in this situation, getting the children educated is a long shot for them. Durga studies in 8th standard of the village govt. school. But, the pathetic financial condition of the family and lack of study material develop inferiority complex in her.

Her torn uniform and lack of study material is a boost for negative energy in Durga.

Under "Education for every child" project The Team RSKS visited the village Arjunpura and there the school Principal explained us the problems that Durga faced in her study. The Team instantly visited Durga's home to contact her parents and after having discussion with them gave study material (school uniform, school bag, shoes-socks, stationary, sweater, geometry box, colour, etc.) to Durga and took promise from her to study hard. The study material brought smile to her face that can't be described in words.

Now, Durga does study with dedication and without any problem. She is now happy to be regular in study. Her family expects alot from her. Her dedication towards study reflects her bright future.
