Manisha Thrives on her Hospitality Training

Manisha continues to excel in her chosen field
Manisha continues to excel in her chosen field

One of our seven advanced scholars, Manisha KC, is working on her degree in Hospitality and Hotel Management in Kathmandu. From childhood, Manisha has always been an outstanding student and hard worker - and she continues to excel at her new-found field. She wrote us a wonderful note that we want to share with our GlobalGiving partners:

"After Board Exams, my college will provide three months training in bakery, so I am planning to do this. Last month we went to the Radisson Hotel and were shown all facets of hotel management and got some hands-on training. I definitely had the feeling when I was there that one day I will be working in such a hotel."

Our mission at Ama Ghar is to provide all our children with the tools to be self-sufficient, and we're sure Manisha will excel, as always. With a degree in Hospitality and Hotel Management, she will be more likely to find a job in Nepal, which has an economy based in great part on tourism.

Thank you for helping us to send these children to school. We believe that a strong and peaceful world is built by loving and educating one child at a time.
