The Education 1000 project is aimed at supporting at least 1000 indigent children across remote communities in Nigeria especially girls gain access to free and quality education, in line with the vision 2030 Sustainable Development Goals outlined by the United Nation. This project will primarily support the enrollment and training of needy children of primary level to acquire formal education and entrepreneurial skills.
For any nation to effectively grow and attain their greatest heights, Education at even the lowest level cannot be neglected. It has its own positive effects within the country and beyond. Several changes can take place if Education especially at primary level is looked into indepthly. In line with our vision to provide free and quality education to indigent kids in Sub-Saharan Africa, we have embarked on this project that will see at least 1000 kids enrolled in school this year.
This project will not only enroll at least 1000 indigent children in school, but also provide guidance, mentoring and support throughout their primary school education. This project will take out 1000 indigent kids out of the street. It will also touch at least 800 homes and give them hope for a better future and a better world. Education builds a nation. Primary School Education is the foundation of a more purposeful educational pathway, a greater nation, and a more united world.
The goal of the 2019 Edu1k project is for indigent and underprivileged children to have access to lifelong quality education and skills necessary to negotiate key life decisions. Specifically, the project seeks to achieve the following outcomes: i. Reduce the number of out of school children ii. Increase the child-friendliness of school environment iii. Increase the community awareness on the need for quality education iv. Promote the entrepreneurship education in young stars
