DEAR FRIENDS OF THE IBHABHATHANE

Our year has started off just wonderfully. A very generous donation from GlobalGiving, just as school started, made it possible to buy some exciting educational toys for our little children as well as purchasing supplies for our cooking programme. We thank all our donors on GlobalGiving for giving so generously, and helping us to a smoother start for 2015!

On Friday, January 23rd, we had a very special visit. Representatives from the National Development Agency came to visit the Ibhabhathane. The objective was to evaluate our centre as we have entered the Award for best Early Years Facility……and we are delighted to say that so far, we are one of the top ten ECD centres in our Province!!! We are awaiting further outcome…..and will keep our donors posted. For a small rural village and staff that have had no formal training…..this is an amazing achievement. We are so proud. And we could not have done it without the assistance and support we have received so generously.

I thank you sincerely for making such a difference.

“ I am only one; but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something. I will not refuse to do the something I can do.” – Helen Keller

May your 2015 be blessed and happy

Kindest Regards
