Did you know that a child who attends a quality Early Years
facility has a 70% better chance to have a successful school career? That his
or her chance finding work and supporting themselves or their families is 65%
better than a child who has had no access to Early Years Education?
Every time you give, our capacity to deliver a service that
will bring about real change, increases.
The Ibhabhathane Community Centre has 37 children attending the
educational programme at the centre.
The Nutrition Programme continues to provide 60-70 meals
every day.
Our computer literacy programme not only offers digital
learning to our little ones and the local school children but provided valuable
learning support to the learners preparing for their final exams during the
last quarter.
Local volunteers are sharing their crochet and needle work
skills with the elderly and are producing bright and colourful work.
The centre will relocate to a new building in January 2014.
This is very exciting as it will help us to expand our programmes and reach a
wider community.
The Ibhabhathane Community Centre sincerely appreciates your
care and generous giving. Your contribution mobilises our vision to make
inroads in to the poverty situation prevailing in rural towns in the Eastern
Cape, South Africa.
We thank you for considering this project and bringing about
change for good.
Warmest greetings
