The project provides a stimulating Early Years Educational programme on a daily basis for 34 young children in rural Eastern Cape, South-Africa. Taking care of their cognitive, emotional, creative, spiritual and physical needs; ensuring a strong foundation to enter formal schooling from. The project facilitates training courses for volunteers working at the centre, to be trained as Early Years Practitioners. The project provides 2 free daily meals for each of the children attending the centre.
Child supervision. Child minders are unaffordable and the shorter life expectancy due to HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis has in result less family members to take care of young children. Many households do not have the means to provide a nutritional meal for their children, 40% of a 150 adults interviewed depend on grants or subsidies as their only income. Due to an increasingly demanding school career, the importance of an early childhood education is undisputed.Only10% of kidds attend a creche

Twenty-thirty young children are being provided for on all aspects of their development during the critical window period of human development - age 0-4. Early Childhood Education contributes significantly to the econonmical and sustainable welfare of its society.
