The number of orphans and vulnerable children is estimated to be over 2.8 million in Kenya. Most of these children withdraw from school due to lack of basic needs, also the cost of living is very high which leads to low school turn up and quite a number drops out of school. This often leads them to indulge in drug abuse, prostitution in exchange for money risking their lives.
The project will help to provide the basic needs such as food, school uniforms, medical care and much more to orphans and vulnerable children of Parkview Orphans Achievers Shelter. By providing them with quality education and meeting their basic necessities, they will feel empowered economically and become leaders of tomorrow.
Children are part of the promise for the future, the hope of a next generation. Once educated, the child will find value and meaning in life and become self-independent.
