I would like to thank you all for the support and encouragement you render to Ngoma Aid Foundation. Kindly keep it up.
I am sorry for this late submission but internet in our part of the world is very unreliable and the organisation modem needs to be replaced.
I would like to thank all those who have in one way or another helped us fundrise for this project, those that have directly donated to the project, and i request for your continued support. We still face a challenge of getting people donate to our projects because of our limited international network, and, we thus request you kindly to help us make friends for the organisation.
The 12 girls are all in school and they are now for the second term of school. One academic year at their levels has three terms. One (Josephine) will be sitting her pre University exams sometime in December 2010. Kindly continue to pray for her. She has school fees interuptions but we are trying to keep her at school with the help of the school authorities as we continue to raise funds for her education.
Lispar had to change school and will sit for her ordinary level certificate sometime in December. She too needs your prayers and support.
Jane and the two Elizabeths will be sitting for Primary Leaving Examinations sometime in December 2010 and should be able to join secondary sometime next year.
The rest of the girls in lower primary are doing well. Krishna is a very prayerful girl and she has been asked top teach the rest of the girls how to pray.
The girls house has had power disconnected for the last three months or so because of non payment of rent and electricity bills but that will be sorted out as soon as funds are secured. In the meantime we are improvising with the lighting given that we do not use electricity for cooking.
Overall, sacrifices continue to be made to keep the girls in school and provide a home for them. It is in my best interest that these girls have a better future.
Thank you all for your continued support.
