This project would lay a strong foundation for 350 rural girls belonging to disadvantaged families by imparting early childhood education and serving cooked nutritious food. 10 integrated child development centers, each having 35 girls, would be opened in 10 villages to combat and eliminate Low literacy, high drop out rate and malnutrition among rural girls of Mewat district in the state of Haryana, India. AGS has helped more than 300000 girls to complete primary and pre-primary education
There is 518101 female that constitutes 47.56 percent of the total population of the district. Their literacy rate is 36.60 % that is very low. Children between the age of 0-6 constitute 22.78% of the total population and girl children are 22.77% of the total child population of the district. High anemia around 70% of a female causing physical and mental health problems. This project would lay a strong foundation to eradicate low female literacy and poor health of girl children.
This project would impart early childhood education to 350 girl children between the age of 3 to 5 year from 10 integrated development centres in 10 villages and provide them 1 nutritious meal on every working day. Under this project, AGS would also generate awareness of early childhood education and nutritious food among community members and what is a nutritious food and how to get such kind of food.
The project would educate 350 girls and keep them healthy. A strong foundation of these children and awareness among community would increase female literacy, reduce drop out among girls and improve the health and well-being of these girls and other females of these villages.
