Challenge

Our project will directly benefit the families in the area surrounding Royal Seed Orphanage in Ofaakor Ghana, providing 300+ children (including the children of Royal Seed) and adults with education in native Twi, Fante and English while training them in computer skills, literacy training (in three languages), agricultural training, and business training. We hope to not just alleviate poverty in the area, but to arm the students with the ability to transcend it completely.

Solution

We are building a large school that doubles as a community center. Also a farm (3 acres) adjacent to the school for use by students in apprenticeship program. A library with native literature and a computer center with internet access.

Long-Term Impact

Project will provide 300+ youth and adults with education/vocational skills to empower them to strive for better standard of living
