In Enseña por México we strive to build a broad, diverse and inclusive movement of leaders who are agents of change in Mexico so that children and youth have access to an education that guarantees their full potential.

Throughout the past semester, as well as during the pandemic crisis, we have adapted to better support students, primary caregivers, teachers, and members of the community. Through virtual, hybrid, and face-to-face formats, more than 220 Profesionales de Enseña por México collaborate in 144 schools in 10 states and continue to create contextualized strategies that are relevant to each educational community.

They are a constant reflection of our identity, which is characterized by motors that guide our actions towards the fulfillment of our collective vision, and which we strive to be present at all levels of impact and among all those who are part of this movement:
1. Continuous learning is a part of daily life. We see learning as a cycle of continuous improvement, where excellence is not the only goal; We use the reflection from humility to recognize in ourselves and others the areas of opportunity and strength, which allows us to learn from each other and from each experience.
2. We adapt to change by being flexible and positive in the face of unforeseen situations, we come up with solutions, we get involved, and we take responsibility for the results.
3. We act with a sense of urgency. We are aware of the challenges we face, which is why we act in the now and with empathy. We plan and execute strategically.
4. In taking charge, we act with co-responsibility and are committed to our vision.

Your support and involvement in this movement are greatly appreciated! ¡Gracias!

At Enseña por México we envision a world where educators, policymakers, parents, and students are working together to ensure that their communities’ children have the foundation they need to shape a better future for themselves and all of us.

Education is fundamental to development and growth - making all development achievements, from health advances and investigation to efficient public administration and private sector growth. There is definitely no better tool for our society to thrive than education.

Even when this importance is evident, achieving learning for all is extremely challenging, and the Covid-19 pandemic has only made this gap more evident. That is why Enseña por México collaborates with underserved schools around the country to develop the necessary skills for children and youth to achieve their full potential, but we also focus on developing leaders for the educational and social sector in order to create a movement that is committed to transforming the educational system, ending education inequity and promoting social justice.

Your support today is more important than ever before. Only in the past school year (2020-2021) it has allowed us to collaborate with more than 25 thousand students from early childhood to high school in 10 states.

Investing in education is truly one of the most powerful instruments for reducing poverty and inequality, and lays the foundation for sustained prosperity for all. We are incredibly honored by your contribution. Thank you for being part of the transformation.

The present school year is almost over - a year that has been challenging for the world, for Mexico and for education. The pandemic showed the structural problem that exists in Mexican education and with it, the enormous gap that does not allow all children and youth to reach their full potential.

Despite the difficulties encountered, Enseña por México, hand in hand with the educational communities, had the opportunity to reinvent learning and equip students with the cognitive, creative, social, and emotional skills necessary to navigate in the present and the future. We contextualized the one-going support, strategies and activities that are carried out through the more than 260 Profesionales de Enseña por México (PEM) to face the different realities that exist in the 10 states in which we collaborate in more than 120 centers and schools. For this we have carried out periodic censuses to determine the access to connectivity of each of the students, as well as their socio-emotional affectation, to adapt, adjust and expand the impact.

Our more than 470 Alumni have demonstrated their resilience and capacity by continuing to impact the education sector despite the crisis we are in, finding ways to innovate in the social sector, promoting and developing educational public policy and leading educational initiatives inside and outside the classroom. You can check the information on our Alumni report through this Facebook Live

Enseña por México is now preparing for the 2021-2023 generation of PEM that will start their intensive initial training in July and begin their collaboration in centers and schools in hybrid modalities in August.

At Enseña por México we firmly believe that scientific knowledge and education are essential resources to face the greatest health crisis that the planet has suffered in the last century. In addition, we are convinced that any comprehensive plan to address the economic consequences of the coronavirus pandemic in Mexico (and the world) is not really comprehensive, if education is not considered.

The challenge is enormous and continuous but we are working and striving every day to ensure that one day all children an youth of Mexico have an education that allows them to reach their full potential. At Enseña por México, during this crisis and through our PEM network, we continue to serve more than 30,000 students from vulnerable schools and ECD centers who have the greatest needs, developing skills that allows them to form their own critical thinking and acquire socio-emotional skills necessary to understand and propose solutions to the problems in their environment. Likewise, training, monitoring and accompaniment of educational agents, parents and teachers is offered, with the objective of sharing good leadership practices in the classroom.

Today, more than ever, we must create awareness about the importance that scientific knowledge and education have in current contexts, where what prevails is absolute uncertainty. Faced with contemporary challenges, as a society we must focus our hopes on something that allows us to reverse the mistakes that have brought us to this point; that something is human reason. Any conscientious reflection on the ravages of this pandemic should lead us to ask ourselves: what have we stopped doing in education that has us in conflict with ourselves and with nature?

In the world, the health crisis has allowed us to be aware of the crucial contribution of teaching, learning and mental health of students, in order not to neglect the objectives of guaranteeing inclusion and educational quality for all. Focusing our efforts beyond the COVID-19 pandemic, we must embrace the idea that learning never stops. And for this, it is necessary to consider an investment that allows enhancing leadership skills among teachers for the best equipment of strategies that can face these and future situations; and thus, prevent the health and economic crisis that the world is going through from turning into a catastrophic educational crisis and its consequences.

The investment we make today in education will be reflected in the integrity of those generations that follow.

Dear friend,

Thank you for your support during this challenging times.

Since 2011, we have been aware of the educational inequity in Mexico. We did not imagine that the lives of the students would be suddenly transformed by the health crisis caused by COVID-19; a pandemic that will mark the decisions of students today and in their future; students who will become the decision makers, doctors, scientists and leaders of the future.

The health crisis showed the conditions of inequality that exist in Mexico and the world. An estimated 2.4 million students will drop out of school.

Aware of the problem, at Enseña por México we act based on evidence, we seek to understand the problem before determining a solution. This is why we conducted a census on the student population with which the PEMs collaborate and we realized that… Only half of the students have their own cell phone. More than half of the students do not have a computer. Only 38% have fixed internet access at home.

With these data in mind, this back to school we are working to:
1. Generate diverse strategies to monitor students through different media, taking into account connectivity, access to tools and more characteristics of students, in order to continue learning processes and support for students.
2. Give support to educational agents and parents.
3. Inform for the context, through:

Thank you again for your support.

Warm regards,
