HIV/AIDS being the major challenges has made a great number of children orphans in Zambia. The impact of the HIV/AIDS pandemic has become an issue of not only health, but of cross-sectional importance affecting orphans and vulnerable children. The destruction of human capital and its impact on the most vulnerable children has been a threat to Zambian developmental programmes such as providing Education for all (EFA) as many children have no access to quality education as it supposed to for all
This project will help solve some problems faced by Orphans and Vulnerable children at the grassroots by providing them them education and helping them and empowering them with a skill that will enable them to become responsible people in society after being educated and contributing to the development of their communities and the nation. Education is the key to success once they are given quality education they will be able to be productive in their own families and communities.
The long term impact of this project will provide educational support to 585 Orphans and Vulnerable Children affected by HIV/AIDS and helping them to raise their standards of living instead of continued living in stigma and discrimination and absolute poverty. The provision of education will enable the most vulnerable children in need to be productive people in society and resulting in them being able to contribute to the social and economic development in their families and communities.
