Plaque Presentation to Hatten Hotel Melaka
Parents Support Group on 18th October 2014
We welcome Dr. Alefiya Nomanbhoy once again as our guest speaker for the event. She continued her sharing about Functional Behavioural Analysis (FBA) and taught parents on identifying a specific functional behaviour that they want their children to either learn or reduce. She also shared tips and methods on managing the behaviours more effectively.
It was a hands-on sessions for us staff and parents who attended the session as we discussed and shared about different types of situations/scenarios and how to manage them.
Graduation Party/Christmas Party 2014 on 26th November 2014
This event was sponsored by Hatten Hotel Melaka and we had about 165 people (including parents, students, trainees, siblings, regular donors and staff) who attended it. There were performances by students and trainees from EIP, SAP and YAP as well as certificate presentation to 4 graduating students.
A gift plaque which was uniquely hand drawn by one of our trainees was also presented to the hotel as a token of appreciation.
It was a fun time together as we see staff, parents and children/trainees fellowshipping with one another before the end of the school term.
