TV-TAY Wellbeing Initiative is a Non-Governmental Organization that has revelled time and effort in education, healthcare and environmental activities for a peaceful and sustainable society in various communities. She envisions that non-rooted education and low medical care in the slum areas of Nigeria has given birth to violence and unrest social vices such as Child labour, drug abuse, armed robbery and kidnapping. She also Provides modern gadgets and healthcare service for educational growth.
In the Northern region, the religious, cultural belief and the high population density resulted from ignorance and poor family planning contributing to inability to cater for the education and healthcare of most of these children. It hinders a lot of set back to the educational and healthcare standard of the children in this region. Over 200,000 children lack education and healthcare also suffer recurrent disaster. This project will affect at least 1200 children in each region.
TV-TAY plans by projecting to have a regular medical care for the slum children, taking care of their education by proving them writing materials such as note and textbooks, sandals, shoes, uniform which most of their parents can not afford to pay for. We also projects to provide them medicare on monthly or bi-monthly basis to tackle malarial and some other diseases these children may be susceptible to in the slum. Providing their schools with instructional materials is one of our aims
Our project will not only educate and medicate children but also educate and medicate their parents of equal number to their children, this means in each region 1000 participants will be trained altogether from Northern region, South West and South South as determined and projected by TVTAY Wellbeing Initaitive. This approach indirectly affects a large number of people including parents by giving them broad knowledge of how they can subsequently engage their children in proper healthcare.
