Helen Keller's Birthday

Dear supporters and well wishers,

Namaskar and Greetings from the Staff, Students and Trustees of Snehadeep Trust for the disabled!

We are happy to inform all our well wishers that our new computer course for 9 months is started in the month of June, and we have got a good response from our students to get admitted for the course. This time we had to make choices with the students, because of the lack of accommodation available with us. We have celebrated International Helen Keller’s birthday in grandeur on 27th June 2015.

To create awareness among our students and the society and to interact with people to get observation skills, we took our students to different places. And also there was a visit to our institution with social awareness from DELL the leading MNC, with 50 employees to teach our students about working environment and overcoming stress or challenges which obstruct the abilities of an impaired person.

In the month of August, there was a unique experience for our students which was supported by India Bull Riders Motorcycling Club as a part of their "Community Service Rides" program, where they had given 20 kms ride on the bike to give an real time riding experience on the two wheeler in an friendly environment to make it an awesome experience for our students.

As we are proud of our India, we have celebrated the Independence Day by conducting the sports in remembrance of our freedom fighters and their struggle to get independence to our country and their sacrifices and making our students to understand the importance of policies adopted by our freedom fighters and how we can be proud of being an Indian.

We focus on giving real world experiences to motivate them and cope up with their abilities.
