Thank you for your continued support to our project ‘Educate & Empower 525 rural girls (Anupshahr, India)!

YOUR support is creating real change. Below is the snapshot of the progress report:

  •  Every girl received 8 hours of focussed academic education along with lessons on various aspects of personality development, leadership skills, general well -being, health & hygiene and physical fitness.
  • There was 100% result in class 10th and 12th. In class 10th, out of 47 students, 39 girls secured first division and the rest secured second division. Among 12th graders, 8 girls scored first division and remaining second.
  • 8 PPES girls received scholarship upon completion of their graduation during this period.
  • School bus facilitates safe & comfortable travel and also ensures punctual attendance at the school. 420 girls commutes regulary to school by bus.
  • A total of 10 bicycles were distributed to the most deserving students. Bicycles and buses have made commuting easier for the girls who had to earlier walk 5-7 kms to reach school. Girls now arrive at school on time and return home early. They get more time to complete their home work as well.
  • 525 sets of winter uniforms (sweater, shoes& socks, scarfs) were distributed to all the girls during the reported month.
  • Health and hygiene form a quintessential part in motivating girls to keep coming to school. Each girl receives nutritious meals (three times a day) and timely vaccinations.
  • 30 selected girls were treated to a mesmerising trip to Taj Mahal Agra for maintaining 100% attendance
  • 8 PPES girls became the torchbearers and represented PPES in the ‘24 Hour Run’ marathon held at Gurgaon, New Delhi. The campaign aimed at sensitizing urbanites about the plight of children who cannot study as they do not have access to electricity.
  • PPES Scouts and guides team brought more laurels to the school by winning first and second position in senior and junior category at the recently held State level Scouts and Guides competition. A team of 30 girls from our school participated in the event.17 teams from all over Uttar Pradesh participated in the event. This win has raised confidence levels of the girls.
  • PPES celebrated its Annual day on 24th November. Dressed in vibrant costumes, girls presented beautiful cultural performances on the occasion.
  • As part of the school exchange programme, a 14 member team comprising of 10 students and 4 faculty members from Archer School (US) visited Pardada Pardadi School from 20th-25th November. Computer and photography workshops were conducted by the Archer students for 11th graders. A special song and dance performance was prepared by the Archer students for the Annual Day.

Need your continous support to keep these programmes up & running!
