Today, our prevention program is one of the most advanced in Vietnam and those that reaching the longest experience since its beginning in 2008. However, our challenge is to continually develop it, to make the best prevention education program as possible. We studied for the addition of more useful information for self-protection, such as the approach taken by recruiters through social media (very young children play a lot with connected phones to often watch video clips.) and sexual harasement (86% of Vietnamese teenagers and women are victims of sexual harasement. Teenagers are more often victims during public bus transportation to school).
Another interesting news: Recently, The VN newspapers reported that in Ho Chi Minh City, education services will educate children at schools about risks of sexual abuse. If this is the case, it is a good start for the protection of Vietnamese children.
Thanks to the support of GlobalGiving and of the French Embassy in Vietnam, new training session will starts in September in Thua Thien Hue Province for about 4000 children and parents. Now, the children finished their last examination and will enter in summer holydays soon.
