Educate 200 children without parents in Sri Lanka.

Summary

Sunray Foundation plans to supply monthly ration of foods and yearly educational needs for 200 underprivileged children who do not live with their parents in central province, Sri Lanka. They are not living in the orphanage centres, But with a single parent,grandparents,any other relation or guardian. 40% of them are without both of parents & other 60% are single parental children. 90% of single parental children are also living with their grandparents or Relation.yet No attension for them

Challenge

Not only a one child, but also 2,3 children in a family are without parents.They are not living in orphanage centres, But with a single parent, grandparents, relation or guardian.Those children are undergoing a lot of hard ships.They don't get sufficient amount of food & nutrition, sufficient educational needs like books,uniforms,shoes,school bags and any other educational needs.They don't have better mental condition for learning. 70% of them leave school before completing secondary education

Solution

Already we have recognized 200 children who do not live with both of their parents with the help of our volunteers. And we have estimated the cost 12000$ to address their requirements. We will collect the donations and collect the necessities of the children. Then we will hand over those to the affected children individually. We will pay the tuition fees to the institutions where they study.we will maintain a updated records of those children and monitoring & Evaluating their progress.

Long-Term Impact

Uplift the standard of life of 200 suffering children. Enhance the physical & mental condition of them. Enhance the educational facilities of the less opportune children. Enhance the primary & secondary educational opportunities for the less opportune children. Spread the Christian values among them. Enhance future employability skills of those children. Reduce the number of anti social activities that may occur in the future. That will benefit the society as a whole in the future.
