Most families and Children in Teso, have fallen prey to HIV/AIDS, 93.3% of orphans are Positive and suffer from frequent disease burdens/attacks, depressions, sorrows and usually 80% are exposed to malnutrition, or engaged in stressful labour, lack protection, have high school drop -out rates due to the inability of guardians to provide basic scholastic needs, 90% drop out of school. So to overcome these constraints, SAM will continue to give care and support.

Through this project 85% of the HIV/AIDS Positive Orphans and Disabled Children will complete Primary School, High School Drop-out rates will reduce and frequent disease burdens/attack will also diminish because of continuous education support, health care/Medicare services provided and also improved livelihood, increased incomes, food security, nutrition status and stable fees payment.

Long-Term Impact

Extreme Poverty will significantly be reduced among these 150 Vulnerable and Marginalized children, Malnutrition will be checked, Health and Livelihoods will be improved and enhanced; 100% of these marginalized children will have an ability to pay their own school fees in the future and will be able to sustain themselves for the rest of their lives.
