More than half of the 36 million people of Uganda are under the age of 15, more than 15 percent of school-aged children do not attend and those who do desperately need support for extra costs that include school uniform, books, shoes, lunch fees, pens and pencils to remain in school. Every child has a right to education however given their parents average income of $1 per day, vulnerable children are likely to remain in the cycle of poverty.
Sprout Care Foundation will expand education initiatives so that more vulnerable children can attend and remain in school. The project will also provide health education and care to children in need through school health programs to help children stay healthy, well-nourished and in school For less than a dollar a day help to provide: -All educational fees paid -Clothing, including school uniforms -Educational materials -Lunch and Breakfast -Extracurricular activities
