First report about the Recycling Craft Workshop

Dear Donors and Friends, Between the GlobalGiving Winter Challenge 2011 and a couple of other fundraisers, we were able to raise over $4,000 to support our project in the La Hesperia Cloud Forest School, Ecuador. Through the support of all our donors we have raised 52% of the necessary funds for our project. We have already bought the construction materials for the workshop and the storage, and we have also ordered the glass cutter. Last week we started with the construction of the workshop, the first step of the project. Thanks again to all the donors who made this project possible!! It really is important for the students in rural areas in Ecuador to get a high quality education. With this project the wages for the teachers will be safe and also more school materials can be bought.
