Introduction.

Mitooma Women's Dignity Foundation nongovernmental organization operating in Mitooma district received funds to purchase two piglets; these piglets were donated by Monica and Roland from SES who are our friends that show the need of helping our women who needs to be empowered economically. The two piglets were bought and supplied to two women out 9000 women members.

These piglets are being looked after very well by Kabugho Suzan and Muhindo Julia to ensure that they multiply such that the off springs are given to other women.

We expect in the next 4 months the pigs to produce at least 8 to 12 piglets each. This means we shall be having at least 16 to 24 piglets in the next 4 months. These off spring piglets will be given out to at least other 16 to 24 women who will then give out to other women.

Benefit.

The women will be economically empowered to end domestic violence in their homes and ensure that they promote girl Child Education.

Challenge.

The two pigs are not enough to support the 9000 women; this means it will take many years to multiply to ensure that all the women are reached in time.

Recommendation.

We recommend that more pigs be purchased to support increased demanding number for piggery project and that the already received pigs be looked after very well to ensure replication of more other pigs.
