Dear Valued Partner:
Thank you for making a difference to children at 3 boarding schools in rural Kenya with healthy school meals! You made it possible to grow nutrient dense fruits and vegetables at the school demonstration gardens and at 4 off-site farms. These fruits and vegetables boost the nutritional value of school meals, keeping children engaged in learning. We’re proud to report that students continued to place in the top quartile on national test exams.
Both COVID-19 and now the war in Ukraine have led to increased food prices world wide. We are grateful for your support enabling our partner to grow food to feed almost 1,000 children.
