After the devastating earthquake in the Turkish-Syrian border area in the night from Sunday to Monday, the situation in the affected region remains unclear. Local authorities say thousands have been killed and millions injured after the earthquake struck and collapsed thousands of buildings. German aid organizations from our alliance Aktion Deutschland Hilft are on site and providing immediate aid. Further emergency aid teams from Germany are being sent to the affected areas.
