Challenge

Youth in Sierra Leone are facing challenges related to lack of motivation, traumatic stress, socio-economic difficulties, lack of confidence. The current educational system, when accessible, does not cater for their holistic needs.

Solution

By providing the Brain Education and Earth Citizen awareness curriculum in the newly reactivated National Training Center --which has the goal to educate future social workers -- the project will help young students gain their confidence and unleash their creativity to make a better life for themselves and their community.

Long-Term Impact

Being social workers, their contact and practice with other people will ensure a ripple effect of the education provided.
