The project started a free school for the underprivileged children in 1 room with 24 children which has expanded into 19 rooms with 198 students in 11 classes and adding 1 class of 24 students annually. Encouraged with the success of first project, a big plot to build 2 schools has been purchased & 2 classes with 34 children have been started. 50 children will be added every year. Our schools provide quality education, free uniforms, shoes, text books, stationery and free snack daily.
The majority of the Pakistani population is young who are uneducated, unskilled & unemployed due to lack of educational & skill development facilities. Some of them are attracted to unlawful activities. The uneducated girls are deprived of their human rights due to ignorance of their legal rights. Traditions in many communities discourage educated girls to seek jobs. At present, 20 million children in Pakistan are not going to school as government schools are neglected & private are expensive.
The project is community based and its beneficiary feedback is very effective. A large number of children are getting free education. Their parents are fully involved in the progress of their children and awareness of the importance of education has been created. The parents of children are helped in their pressing problems. They are given rations for the month of Ramzan and clothes to the students for Eid and cash to celebrate Eid.
The project of imparting free quality education and job opportunities for educated girls in the trust school at walking distance from their homes is an attractive proposition. It will provide a large number of educated and self supporting individuals which will change their outlook on life, upgrade the living standard of their families and make them good, confident and useful members of the society. They will thus endeavor to provide better opportunities for progress to their next generation.
