DOGPAW's new board president has been working to help rebrand the DOGPAW name and image. We've contracted with a professional service for a series of workshops for our board, site managers, and other volunteers to recreate our Mission, Values, and Vision. Stayed tuned for updates on our progress on this front.
Meanwhile, we are starting an aggressive campaign to attract volunteers to the organization. We cannot accomplish the wonderful things we'd like to accomplish in marketing, park user education, increase in donations and members, etc. without the support of many new and energetic volunteers. We will be hosting a volunteer rodeo at the end of January, 2017 to help solicit those volunteers. Stay tuned for more information on this event.
We have been working tirelessly with local officials and business owners in the Camas/Washougal area for property to put in a replacement dog park for the Stevenson Dog Park which closed on November 1st. Unfortunately, extremely high City and County permit fees are some of our biggest hurdles we currently face in this endeavor.
DOGPAW is lucky to have a couple of professionals volunteering their time to create a new webpage for us. The new webpage should be rolling out very soon. Check out the webpage and check us out on Facebook.
