DOGPAW has been busy this year with lure course runs, membership drives, dog park work parties, Bark in the Park fundraiser, etc.
We had a very successful work party at Lucky Dog Park in Brush Prairie on August 29th. Much work was done on the trails, the agility course, poop pickup, holes filled, etc. THANK YOU to all of our wonderful volunteers.
DOGPAW is working with local artists to help design and establish a memorial at the Clark County Courthouse for officers killed in the line of duty (human and canine).
DOGPAW is working with local officials in securing a new site for a Camas area dog park as the new owners on our current property by Bi-Mart in Washougal wish to develop the property for other purposes. We are hopeful to raise money through local campaigning to build a new park in Camas. Please go online to donate to the funding of this new park.
Our annual Bark in the Park fundraising event was a great success this year despite the rain. We had 40 vendors and three rescue organizations participate this year. The K-9 Officers performed a demonstration of their skills and we had several entrants in our canine fashion pageant. Thank you to all of our awesome volunteers.
Join us for our last lure course run of the season on the morning of Saturday, October 3rd at Lucky Dog Park. You'll never see your dog have MORE fun than when running the lure course.
