DOGPAW's membership has grown considerably in the past few months after a concerted membership campaign. With this growth in membership we are hoping for an increase in the number of volunteers to help us expand our efforts in creating the best off-leash dog parks in Clark County, Washington.
Ryan Bittner, an Eagle Scout from Troop 320 completed his eagle scout project at our Ross Dog Park by furnishing and installing a real (non-working) fire hydrant for our dogs' enjoyment. He and his crew did an outstanding job on this project. Congratulations Ryan.
We are excited to report that we have finally brought water to our Ross Dog Park. Through generous sponsorship of a handful of local dog businesses and partners we have installed a dog water feature at the lower end of our Ross Dog Park. The water will be available seasonally from spring through fall as at our other parks.
Clark County has completed its expansion and upgrade to the parking lot at Lucky Dog Park but the park is not yet open for business until the newly planted grass has taken root. Stay tuned for notice of park opening sometime this spring.
