Board Member Resigns
After 8-yrs of volunteering for DOGPAW, Kathleen Hansen (Founding Member & Current President) is resigning. She has contributed much to the organization, but it's time for new adventures. Lets welcome Cindy Franke as the new President!
Commemorative Renaming
Brush Prairie Off-Leash Area is now called Lucky Memorial Dog Park, after a Clark County K-9 Officer Lucky, who was killed in the line of duty May 1990. His partner Tom Mitchum is currently a Detective with Clark County Sheriff's Office. We wanted to Honor Lucky, as we have honored Kane and Dakota, who were more recently killed in the line of duty.
Dog Days of Summer
Vendors & Donors: AniMeals (Second Chance Companions), Battle Ground Barkery, DOGPAW, Good Dog Photo, Fences For Fido (cancelled), Fidos City Guide, LJC Feed, Muddy Paws, Naturally Healthy Pets, Park Lane Jewelry, Time Captured, WCGHS, Wild Child Pet Fashions. Volunteers: Arleen Chester, Cindy Franke, Kathleen Hansen, Jerry & Maura Quilling, Misti Hymas. We collected $890.00 and over 112 pounds of pet food for AniMeals!

We helped to get the word out and raise funds for the Vancouver Police Dept to purchase Ike and Ory, who recently became our newest K-9 Officers.
