New Water Feature at Ross Dog Park
New Water Feature at Ross Dog Park

DOGPAW Board and Volunteers have been very busy with dog park improvements and events this year.

Our membership base has grown substantially in these past several months.  We are at nearly 800 members now.  Some of this success is due to the monthly membership drives that our board and volunteers are conducting at our parks at varying days and times.  With the costs of maintaining our parks continuing to rise, increasing our membership base is important to keep our parks maintained in top condition.

On April 16, 2015, we held an open house at our newly installed dog water feature at Ross Dog Park.  DOGPAW partnered with the following six local companies to raise the funding necessary for this great new feature:  Canine Utopia, Natural Pet NW, Beastie Boutique, Orchards Feed Mill, Family Pet Supplies, All Natural Pet Supplies.  THANK YOU to our great local pet supply companies who made this happen.

Our DOGPAW Pack raised $2,325 at the May 2nd Walk for the Animals for the Humane Society for Southwest Washington.  We even had a parrot join our pack on the Walk this year.  DOGPAW joined the vendor fair and we got a lot of attention and some new members at our booth.

Our 2015 Annual Membership Meeting was well attended this year.  We sold some merchandise, renewed some memberships and presented our "state of DOGPAW".  We're looking forward to a great new year.
