Dear Donor,
Today, we would like to share one of the smiles that your donations have brought to the face of Fatima, a young girl living with her mother and elderly grandmother in an informal camp in the countryside of Suran, northern Syria.
After 14 years of ongoing conflict, the true scale of suffering endured by Syrians is now more evident than ever. Years of hardship have left behind thousands of families who have lost their loved ones, and children deprived of their most basic rights.
Fatima only has vague memories of her father, who was arrested at a military checkpoint eight years ago. Since then, his family has been unable to obtain any information about his whereabouts. His fate mirrors that of thousands who have disappeared, leaving their families trapped in a cycle of pain and uncertainty.
Fatima’s mother works as a seamstress, struggling tirelessly to provide for her elderly mother and young daughter, despite the harsh conditions and lack of opportunities.
Thanks to your generous support, we have been able to provide bread for Fatima’s family, easing their burden and offering them some reassurance in the midst of their suffering.
Your contributions change lives—they mean a daily meal for a family in need, a smile for a child who has lost everything, and hope for those struggling with poverty and displacement. Your ongoing support ensures that aid continues to reach those who need it most.
On behalf of Fatima and all the families who have benefited from your kindness, we extend our deepest gratitude. Your donations provide more than just bread and aid—they bring hope, relief, and smiles to those who have lost so much.
With Many Thanks
