This project will increase the monthly income of 150 poor women in 4 villages of the earthquake-affected area of Pakistan by an average of $50 by promoting women micro enterprising.

What is the issue, problem, or challenge?

This project is based on the Sustainable Human Development focusing on capacity building where 150 women of 4 villages of earthquake-affected area will be provided business skills along with financial assistance to address the problem of rural poverty. As a result of the proposed project women will contribute in income generation and support the family to improve their livelihood.

How will this project solve this problem?

1.developing 200 households’ profiles 2.selecting 150 households 3.Meetings with community 4.Identification of 10 feasible businesses 5.Conducting 6 trainings in business development for women 6.Providing $170 to each woman 7.Monitoring

Potential Long Term Impact

The project will increase income level of 150 households which will improve living standard of approx 1050 people (average population / household =7) of the poor families.
