In this quarter the membership of the CBOs increased and now the membership is 192 women in 10 CBOs. The CBOs key office bearers have been trained in basic management skills needed to run and manage their community based development interventions. The field team has selected 123 women and girls for the training. The centers are also functional now and the classes have begun. The women and girls are showing lot of interest for vocational skills and other project interventions.
The local community leaders (men) are also supporting the cause. In this quarter a new need emerged that many young girls (school drop outs) showed interest to complete their formal education. AHD has started the enrollment and arrangements are being done to start one evening school for desiring girls to help them complete their formal education at least secondary level school certificate (equal to 10 grades).
