Lives Saved Because Of Your Support in 2013

When a domestic violence victim leaves the abuser it is the most dangerous time of a victims life; the time when a lethality is most likely to occur. Getting victims out of homes quickly and to a secure place is vital to their safety. Without your support, this would not be possible.

Here is a quote from a victim you helped this year: "I was so afraid my husband was going to kill me and my baby when he came home from work that day. The Embassy said they couldn't help me, but said to call you. I could not believe that within two hours you had me in a hotel, safe, then I was on my way home the next day. I know you saved our lives. I don't know how I can ever repay you. Thank you."

For those of you who already give recurring donations to our danger to safety relocation for DV survivors program, we thank you so much. For those of you who have not given recurring donations, please consider becoming a recurring donor between December 20th and December 31st and Global Giving will match your December donation 100% as long as the recurring donation lasts four months.

If you give $50 a month for four months, your $200 becomes $250!

We sincerely thank you for your support and wish you and your loved ones a happy holiday.
