We work for art rehabilitation and social adaptation of orphans, children with special needs, graduates of orphanages, young adults in psychoneurological institutions. In our studio they participate in art activities: painting, ceramics, sewing and other crafts, languages, music, cooking. Every winter and summer we run adaptive art camp, where children gain life skills. Art works created by children participate in exhibitions bringing recognition to young artists and raising attention to our work.
We try to bridge the gap between those children who grew up in families and those who have spent their childhood in government-run institutions. We help our young people develop their talents, receive an education, choose a profession, acquire household skills; we inspire them to be kind-hearted, helpful and ready to contribute to society. We aim to make society aware of the problems such children and youths face.
Every day groups of children and young adults leave their orphanages and come to our studio. Here children take part in many different activities such as painting, drawing, ceramics, felting, tapestry, batik, applied art, music, learning foreign languages, theatre and cooking. After art classes children have tea party. Together we go to museums and theatres, celebrate important dates and just spend time chatting. The studio works 7 days a week and our doors are always open to visitors.
