This dwells in the domain that empowers orphans and vulnerable community widows with adequate professional skills in fashion designs and wears production at a local level that targets both local and global markets. It seeks to build a community of social welfare supporters amongst vulnerable widows and orphans and aspires to train and share experiences with orphanage homes and community widowhood groups such that they can learn to build highly commendable selfsustenance initiatives.
In an angle, there are over 50,000 community widows psychologically and structurally deprived of their development rights due to barbaric customs and cultural rites; in another angle, there are over 3000 orphans within different orphanage centers and over 5000 orphans along the streets and/or within foster homes suffering because of lack of consistent society support for their wellbeing. Complete sponsored formal education is rare for them and thus often leading to criminality at adulthood.
From already commenced advocacy campaigns towards community and government policy redress against barbaric customary rites and initial subsistence capacity building for victimized widows, the project will provide more substantial fashion wears production training and build a local, national and global market for the products. With respect to the orphans, it will initiate professional fashion making skills for the suffering children and provide a reliable income source to their care homes.
Depending on received donations, we will train thirty widows and 20 orphans and the problem of disinherited widows dependency on family pity will be solved; the level of community development prospects will increase based on the added involvement arm of the widows and orphans; the project implementation ideologies will teach other orphans' care homes and widowhood groups to initiate similar activities thereby reducing starvation and aid dependency to cope with their daily existential realities
