Graduation!
All twelve of our High School Academy seniors graduated from High School this year and will all be moving on to college. We are so proud of them! We celebrated with a Graduation Ceremony and a fun day of games with the 12-and-under group that the Academy mentors!

USPTA/PNW Conference
Our Student Athletes helped out the presenters at the USPTA/PNW conference in Portland this year. Craig Jones of the USTA and Mark Bey Tennis Coach and Director of the CARE Academy in Chicago, demonstrated QuickStart drills and Junior private lessons with our Student Athletes!

Our Tennis Director, Fitz Paccione, also received the STAR Award from the USPTA/PNW for supporting the development of tennis through the PAST&E Programs. It was a great honor for Fitz and for our organization!

James John Tennis Day
We went to James John Elementary School in north Portland for a PAST&E Tennis Day! It was great to see so many faces and so many great forehands! We used QuickStart nets and balls, and even some kooshes to practice racquet control. We also practices a few of our dance moves!

QuickStart Training Workshop
PAST&E hosted a QuickStart Training Workshop for our summer volunteers with great Instructors Tracie Mitchem and Gail Benzler from the USTA!

We’re about to start our Summer Program where we plan to serve 150 students Tennis, Fitness, Nutrition, Science and Math, Reading and Writing and life-skills all in 8 weeks as we go Island Hopping with our Educational Curriculum!
