Our team is growing larger and stronger!
There are 3500 Green Rhinos presently in India spread over the Delhi, Gurgaon, Hisar, Kolkata, Siliguri, Sundarban Biosphere Reserve, West Bengal and Bhitarkanika Wildlife Sanctuary, Odisha. Visit our blog www.medium.com/green-rhinos to know more.
The Sundarbans Biosphere Reserve and Bhitarkanika Wildlife Sanctuary are extremely ecologically sensitive areas that the Green Rhinos are working passionately to protect.
Some of the projects the Green Rhinos are presently conducting in Bhitarkanika Wildlife Sanctuary are:
The Green Rhinos in the urban area of Hisar in Haryana have conducted projects on garbage management and composting, spreading awareness about the beneficial use of solar energy and are creating a botanic garden in their school. As a result of a Green Rhinos project garbage bins were installed in 50 school buses!
Thank you for your continued support to create youth nature leaders! You are part of our team!
In gratitude,
Diti
