Your donations will help them have one freshly cooked hot meals a day!
There are thousands of homeless persons living on the pedestrian pathways & skywalks, temple yards, and abandoned buildings in Thiruvarur district, Tamil Nadu. There are children, deserted women, abandoned elderly & sick men and they have none to go to -during this pandemic. They generally don't cook their food but beg or buy food from small roadside eat-outs. Due to the COVID-19 lockdown, all restaurants are closed. No temples or houses to give them food or money. They are starving to death.
This project will provide the Homeless persons with freshly cooked hot meals from the kitchens of our organization-Bharathamatha Family Welfare Foundation, Tamil Nadu, India. We will be serving hot meals (once a day) to all those Homeless persons before they go to bed. Though serving meals once a day may not fully solve their hunger problem yet it will ensure that they will not go to bed in an empty stomach.
The project will help over 1000 homeless persons fight against hunger and survive the dangerous impacts of this COVID-19 lockdown.
