Our action provides legal aid to asylum seekers, people deprived of liberty, victims of gender based violence and other vulnerable people in Africa, Greece and Laos. Furthermore, for capacity building in these countries, we provide legal trainings to justice local actors, such as law professionnals, police agents, prison agents, judges, civil society members.
The problem is the weakness of the Rule of Law in several countries.
Our project will contribute to reinforce the Rule of Law in Cameroon, Greece, Guinea, Laos and Nigeria, by provinding legal aid to people who have difficulties to access to justice, and by organizing capacity building activities with justice local actors.
Legal aid contributes to set precedent cases which strengthen jurisprudence at national levels and for future generations. Trainings with local actors contributes to build sustainable capacities for the right application of the laws and, as a consequence, the sustainable respect of fundamental rights and the Rule of Law.
