Congenial atmosphere to CLHA (Child Live with HIV / AIDS) to live on their community, Stigma has been replaced increasingly by empathy, support and community participation. In the high risk group site of Thoothukudi District, India mainstream linkages expanded category (care takers & Home care guides) continue to extend assistance to avail benefits Govt. schemes, also project benefits such as educational, nutritional,psychological support, including ART. Enhance income thro livelihood trainings
Children are often most affected by HIV / AIDS especially in Thoothukudi District Tamilnadu. Here port is situated, many Industries are prevalent. So truckers, migrants, living predominantly, Here commercial sex workers are numerous. So HIV prevalence is high since 1998 our NGO serving for prevention and from 2000 providing care and support to CLHA assistance including Global Giving. At present in general no NGO Govt supports has any care projects.CLHA are suffering much we continue project.
This continuum projects mission is to work for an enabling sustainable, environment towards community based care and support for CLHA inThoothukudi District, India. This project, supported by International Alliance, Abbott fund and Global Giving from 2000 to 2015 including ourselves no NGO / CBO services for care project at present. Hence we wish to fulfill this need and to reduce HIV related morbidity among children mobilization of community,Acceptance of CLHA by care takers to quality of life.
To create a platform for 100 CLHA to express concerns, provide direct voices for Govt.schemes. To strengthen the capacity of positive network to address issues related CLHA will not be neglected and after get noon meal food. CLHA sibilings will not be separated from family thro care taker continuum capacity building. Govt Hospitals become CLHA friendly and children early get ART, and other referral. Care takers will develop them as counselors. Livelihood trainings to empower economic status.
