Girls in our after-school programs are working on 15-year old computers that cannot be updated and need constant repairs. Refurbished laptops from the World Computer Exchange will empower girls to develop "computer savvy" skills. With working laptops, girls are more likely to stay in school, advance through high school to college and trade schools, join the workforce at higher rates, and earn more income to take care of their families and communities - and set an example for other girls.
