Lets wrap it up this year!

CFYDDI Multi Purpose Conference Hall
CFYDDI Multi Purpose Conference Hall

Yesterday, 8 March, the community of mothers, artists, teachers, businesspersons, youth, children, and staff gathered at the Centre to celebrate International Women’s Day. Every person squeezed their chairs to have a glimpse of inspirational speakers for the day as well as watching the documentaries projected on the library wall. The crowds were excited, hopeful, and warming up for a much larger and accommodating space – the conference hall facility yet to be completed!

By the time the conference hall is completed, we will be able to provide necessary tool to help us address local needs through providing unique community services which will cater to the economic, educational, and health needs of our community through direct service provision.

Thanks to your support! With the funding that we have already acquired through development partners, individual as well as collective contributions through Global Giving, we have succeeded in constructing a community library, facility toilet that only needs flushing water and tiles, and a facility kitchen that needs installation and underground water collection tank. We are so excited to have started the construction of the multipurpose conference hall, as it will perform a variety of functions, including hosting community events and a training space for the child literacy, ICT, and entrepreneurship programs among others. Thus enhancing community development!

We hope by end of this year that we will be welcoming you all for the official opening of the facilities. We are so grateful
