When we reflect on 2019, we will remember a land mark year for the Youth centre market by strategic expansion, dramatic centre growth- a Year we have host the largest number of community events and youth camps! a year we have demonstrated that our youth led approach works never losing sight of our long term direction. The centre has been a focal area for organising holiday education camps, talent development shows and hosting a cocktail of community celebrations for end of year. as a result the centre has mobilised community youth on the innovation hub and have composed and recorded 5 song for the centre program areas, a total of over 60 community women coming together to save and for economic empowerment, a total of over 80 community children joining our early learning program, a total of over 30 children everyday coming to read at the community library and play both indoor and outdoor games, fetch water, the community attending health awareness dental programs and participating in sports. While the page of this report reflects on past successes until 2019, our attention now turns to an exciting, New Year in which the centre will expand its impact through other rural communities and plan for exciting growth to come. Never forgetting this ultimate accountability, we celebrate the past years, thanking our valued partners, talented CFYDDI young staff and tireless volunteers for their commitment and support, and as we start 2020 prepared for strategic growth, increased impact, resolutely committed to our mission.
