Our project has already taken off!
We are proud to be heading towards major community development!! In August there will be a series of workshops that seek to raise Community Awareness in two important villages – La Paz and El Bosque. With this initiative, we want to develop a sense of belonging and increase their commitment with the social work advanced by Soccer for Peace Foundation.
These events aim to include all actors of society that have direct and indirect influence on the lives of children; through the power of this beautiful sport, accompanied by a value-centered methodology and good will, we will mitigate the environments of violence and drug addiction, common amongst these types of communities. In September the turn is for the Simon Bolivar District! – one of the poorest of Barranquilla. Soccer for Peace
Foundation has expanded its mission to embrace 200 children (70% part of this district and 30% from nearby neighborhoods).
As part of our vision we are going beyond the sport element, providing formative workshops and healthy snacks!
Our unbreakable perseverance has harvested a great deal of successes! We need you to believe in us and to be certain that your help will materialize in sustainable and progressive development!!
We count on you!!
