Schools in Southwestern Antioquia, Colombia, do not have a scientific culture. To solve this 90 researching groups conformed by 1380 poor children have been made up for them to research starting from their own questions in different areas. This will make children understand their relationship with the world with a critical perspective; and teachers in schools be able to impact the content of the classes, curriculum and educational quality thanks to the inlcusion of research in learning dynamics
In absence of an investigative and scientific culture in the school has taken off possibilities for exploration, discovery, development of sense of wonder, creativity and innovation. Theres not a motivational methodology thats able to transform the child in the protagonist of his own learning. Research reaches the classroom with that transformation power, from curiosity and the question a unique learning process is born that implies other levels of knowledge, attention and accompaniment.
Through research advices by a professional committed with the progress of research projects, who also has the pedagogical role to empower the student of his/her learning process. Academic and research conferences are held with teachers to insert new methodologies and strategies in the classroom and to adopt new roles in teaching and learning process.
The 1380 projects beneficiary children will learn to better see and read their environments, to understand their relationship with the world from their own discoveries, with a critical and reflexive point of view. Likewise, research will be provided as a reference within the learning dynamics including teachers in this process, when developing their capabilities and being able to impact the content of the classes, curriculum and educational quality.
