The pumping and distribution system continues to operate well and meet the needs of Colonia Segovia. Our local Peace Corps rep has been on the ground coordinating continuous improvement for the system, including the completion of a chlorinator. We are also happy to announce that he has elected to remain in country after his official time as a Peace Corps Volunteer ends to help maintain our relationship with the community.
Planning is now underway for a sanitation system for the community. We expect to travel by year's end to lay the groundwork to address Segovia's flooding and waste management issues. The community's reaction to and involvement with the water system has be wonderful, and they are very excited to tackle this new challenge.
