Prevention is always more effective and affordable than treatment. Neglected tropical diseases affect millions of people worldwide, yet many cases can be prevented through improved sanitation, hygiene education, and environmental management.
Our World NTD Day initiative focuses on proactive solutions. By cleaning streets, removing waste, and educating residents about disease prevention, we aim to reduce environmental conditions that contribute to the spread of infections.
Community members are eager to participate, but adequate funding is essential to ensure the success of this effort. Donations help provide cleaning supplies, safety equipment, waste disposal services, and educational materials that support lasting behavior change.
